Study monitoring

All students have the right to a good study and work environment, which requires good opportunities to exert student influence over their work environment. We engineers can always turn to UTN, Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students, which deals with study monitoring at the technical and scientific faculty. X-section holds study councils twice per semester, where you as an X-student can provide feedback on courses or education in general. This feedback can then be conveyed to UTN, program directors, and further to higher authorities. In each class, there should also be a representative who is in contact with the section's study monitor, and you can turn to them if you have any feedback regarding the education.

If you have questions or thoughts about the education, courses, your study situation, or anything else, there is always the possibility to contact the program's study counselor.Emma Svensson is the study counselor for the Biotechnology Engineering program, and you can always book a meeting with her if you have any concerns. Contact information for Emma can be found here.  Schedule with mandatory events and exams should be available 5 weeks before the course starts, according to Uppsala University. You can find the link to the schedule page here.
